Every year Terme di Sirmione defines the improvement targets with which it measures and assesses the validity and efficacy of its own Quality and Environment management system and provides adequate means and resources.

In 1943 the company created the Research and Studies Centre: this uses a panel of scientific medical consultants to supervise, carry out research and develop therapeutic protocols. It has consolidated more than 150 studies on therapies and the sulphurous water of Sirmione. The eleven members of the panel come from the top university medical faculties specialising in otorhinolaryngology and bronchopneumology. Combined with the collaboration of the relevant medical Schools, the panel is an integral part of the scientific research plan implemented by the company: one of the most important results culminated in the organisation of the Mucus Clearance congress.
